more oral health care problems than their healthy peers. These children present unique
challenges for oral health professionals in planning and carrying out dental treatment.
Providing preventive and comprehensive oral health care to children with special health
care needs should consist of proper coordination and careful consideration, with the aim of
reducing the risk of developing oral diseases. In this lecture, Dr. Faisal will revisit the current
concept of dental management protocol for children with COVID-19 and disabilities and
share his experience in managing the cases.
