Dr Ahmed obtained his basic degree in Dental Surgery from the University
Of Baghdad in 1999. He spent six years teaching at the Faculty of Dentistry
in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) after which he transitioned into
private practice with a focus in Cosmetic, Restorative, Endodontics and
Implant Dentistry.

Having practiced Dentistry for 22 years, Dr Ahmed is able to pair his vast
knowledge and clinical experience to provide the highest quality of care
for his patients. Dr Ahmed is passionate about dental education and has
mentored multiple dentists throughout his career. This passion for teaching
and his ability to explain procedures clearly, concisely and empathetically
allows him to engage with his patients effectively.

Dr Ahmed continues to pursue excellence in his clinical procedures
especially in the area of Implantology. He is a fellow and Master of The
International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and graduate of the
prestigious Steigman Institute in Heidelberg, Germany. He has received
Periodontic training from the Department of Periodontics And Oral
Medicine from University of Michigan. He is a fellow of the Academy Of
Osseointegration (AO) and a member of Digital Smile Design (DSD).

Dental implant therapy requires meticulous attention to surgical and
prosthodontic measures in order to achieve successful outcomes. In this
lecture, you’ll learn how to achieve an ideal biologic width around dental
implants, you will also see clinical cases demonstration for successes &
challenges following different protocols in managing hard & soft tissues.
