DR SHAWN PAUL A/L SELVASINGAM
Dr Shawn Paul graduated from Manipal University (MCODS) in 2015. He then
obtained his Diploma in MFDS by Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 2019.
He has been practising since 2016 with a deep interest in restorative dentistry and
orthodontics. Dr Shawn conducts Rubberdamology Masterclass hands-on courses
in Malaysia since 2020. Dr Shawn is a firm believer that every dentist should learn
and perfect the art of rubberdam placement. He has presented on Rubberdam at
multiple conferences locally and abroad at the International Dental Show, IDS 2023
in Germany and in Jakarta.

Dr Shawn is currently the resident dentist at Sebaris Dental Clinic in Kuala Lumpur,
providing comprehensive clear aligner and restorative treatment. He was previously
the KOL of 3M Oral Care Malaysia and Clear Correct. He is currently the KOL for
Sanctuary Dental.

Rubberdam Treatment Planning
Contemporary, high-quality aesthetic and restorative dentistry demands strict protocols
that usually starts with rubberdam placement. Many dentists struggle with rubberdam
application due to the unfamiliarity of the armamentarium and planning the entire
rubberdam set up. This interactive lecture aims to deliver concise rubberdam treatment
planning for restorative and aesthetic cases. With proper rubberdam treatment planning,
application of the rubberdam set up becomes much simpler, faster and enjoyable for
every practitioner.
