DR MUHAMMAD YAZID BIN SARKAWI
Dr Muhammad Yazid, also known as Dr. Y, graduated with a Bachelor of Dental
Surgery (BDS) from Melaka Manipal Medical College (MMMC) in 2017. After
completing his studies, he fulfilled his compulsory service at KP Alor Gajah, Melaka,
in 2018 before transitioning to private practice in 2019. In 2020, he took a significant
step by establishing his private practice. Currently serving as the Managing Director
and Owner of Saujana Dental(IG @saujanadental.bukitkatil) in Melaka, Dr Y envisions
bringing modern and comprehensive dentistry to the local community. With state-
of-the-art equipment such as a dental microscope, intraoral scanner, 3D printing
and a CBCT machine, his practice seamlessly integrates digital workflows and offers
advanced dental treatments to address complex cases. Dr. Y’s areas of expertise
extend to anterior aesthetic restoration, dental photography as well as 3D printing.

Beyond his private practice, he is the founder of Saujana Academy (IG@
saujanaacademy.my), which marks a pioneering initiative as Melaka’s first dental
training center. His vision for the academy is to foster a hub where local dentists
can both acquire and share knowledge. Dr. Y aims to facilitate study clubs, lectures,
workshops, and product demonstrations within the academy’s premises. As an
added advantage, the facility is equipped to conduct live surgery sessions during
workshops, enhancing the practical learning experience for dental professionals.
