He is the founder and admin of the most popular FaceBook group for dental
professionals in the region, MAD (Malaysian Aesthetic Dentists) which has grown to
                             over 8100 members.
                             Lecture:
                             Multi-disciplinary Smile Makeover : Ortho-Implant Connection
Orthodontic treatment of partially edentulous patients can be difficult, especially if a
significant number of teeth are missing. With loss of teeth, adjacent or opposing teeth
usually tip, drift or overerupt leaving spaces that are not optimal for replacement of
missing teeth. If the loss of teeth is significant, the insufficient anchorage can make the
                             orthodontics tough or impossible.

In his presentation, Dr Neoh Leong Seng, will illustrate how orthodontics can be used
to create space and develop the peri-implant sites prior to implant placement, as well
as how the osseointegrated dental implants can in turn be used to provide additional
                             anchorage for the orthodontics.

This ortho-implant synergy requires an interdisciplinary approach and precise planning
to achieve optimal results. Emphasis will be on treatment planning, anticipations of
potential challenges and overcoming the unexpected following a systematic protocol
that general dentists can adopt in their daily practices.
